Container Yard stacking cranes

Container Yard stacking cranes are used for container handling. They are required in container storage areas and wherever rail/road transhipment are carried out. With their diesel- electric drives, the versatile Rubber-Tyred Gantry cranes can be driven to various storage areas. They can be integrated into fully automated systems.

Rail-Mounted Gantry cranes have proven particularly effective for rail/road transhipments of large quantities of containers and swap bodies. The cranes required for this purpose must be able to move quickly in both a longitudinal and a transverse direction. These cranes also offer advantages with respect to automatic positioning.
