The vessel is to be all welded steel construction with single diesel engine and controllable pitch propeller. The hull is to be round bilge form, transom stern with bulbous bow and forward rake stem. The vessel is designed multi-purpose type to be suitable for the carriage of general cargo, bulk cargo and containers in cargo holds and on main deck. The vessel will be fitted with four (4) cranes. The vessel's accommodation is to be located aft, above the engine room. The main hull is to be divided by a number of transverse WT/OT bulkheads into the following compartments: - 1) Forepeak water ballast tank 2) Fresh water tank and water ballast tank 3) No. 1 cargo tank with SWB wing tanks and double bottom SWB tanks 3) No. 2 cargo hold with SWB wing tanks & D.B. tanks 4) No. 3 cargo hold with HFO wing tank & heeling tank 5) No. 4 cargo hold with HFO wing tank & D.B. tanks 6) Engine room with HFO wing tanks, double bottom lub. oil circulating tanks, dirty oil, HFO & overflow, drain and stern tube F.W. cooling tank. 7) Steering gear compartment with FW tanks.
