The Rubber Tyred Gantry Cranes (RTG Cranes) shall be self-propelled rubber-tyred diesel electric gantry cranes capable of lifting and transporting across the span of six standard ISO containers plus one roadway, each with a spreader that shall have a capacity of 45 ton under the spreader and shall be Hydraulic or Electric telescopic spreader, less in dead weight with twin beam structure.

The height of lift shall allow one container to be transported over the top of five 9’6” high containers stacked one on top of one another. Allowance shall also be made for empty spreader to travel over 6^th container.

The RTG crane shall be operated by a single operator from a totally enclosed cabin which shall be situated in a position such that the load is in view at all times.
